Desert Ridge Villages

Desert Ridge is a master-planned community comprised 5,700 acres offering some of the most alluring real estate available in the Northeast Phoenix valley. With its convenient access to Loop 101 and 51 Freeway and located at Tatum Blvd., Desert Ridge has a popular location.

The Marketplace of Desert Ridge can be found at the southernmost section of the community. A long-time favorite of residents is the outdoor shopping complex due to the plethora of more than 110 retail stores and restaurants distributed across 1.2 million square feet.

The marketplace's setting makes the place feel like a vacation spot with an abundance of shopping and entertainment. You'll find all the common stores such as AMC Theaters, Barnes & Noble, Dave & Busters, Kohl's, Marshalls, PETsMART, Sports Authority, Target, and Old Navy, so everyone is satisfied, a large stadium style theater, or eating at some of the various restaurants.

There are currently 23 developments within Desert Ridge. The community offers prospective home buyers a selection ranging from condos, townhomes, large single family detached homes, golf course homes, and exclusive estate homes.

On the western side of Desert Ridge is Aviano (built by Toll Brothers) with 280-plus townhomes and over 900 homes in Spanish Colonial and Tuscan designs. Prices for a detached luxury residences are between $500,000 to $1.3 million. There's also Fireside (built by Pulte Homes) with detached homes starting at $400,000 and up.

For those seeking an attached home, Toscana offers luxury townhomes. Still under development, City North, located just east of Desert Ridge Marketplace, is a mixed-use development with residential (99 leased condominiums), retail, restaurants, office, and hotel space.

Wildfire Golf Club and JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort and Spa

The course is open to any level of player and age with a mixture of tees to choose from. The course is no slouch as it has received the following accolades by Golfweek Magazine, Zagat, and Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine.

The Palmer Signature Course at Wildfire offers players picturesque and large fairways. The course measures 7,145 yards from the back tee with a slope of 135 creating a tough, demanding yet beautiful game in the desert.

The Faldo Championship Course likewise has spacious fairways, sizeable greens and 108 pot bunkers. The course will play up to 6,846 yards, and a 125 slope from the tips and lies on a 174-acre site.

Although Wildfire is mainly a resort course, memberships are obtainable for a fee. Members of the Golf Club can use all of the amenities of the Marriott Resort which includes Tennis, Swimming Pools, Fitness Center, Revive Spa Services, some have a daily fee.

Within the community is the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, a 316-acre luxury resort, which includes the Revive Spa and multiple dining choices. The Revive Day Spa provides their clients with expert beauty and body treatments, exercise classes, a dedicated fitness room, an outdoor swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas, pool huts, and the highly acclaimed Bistro of Revive Spa.

The Marriott runs the Wildfire Golf Club which offers 2 scenic 18-hole golf courses with amazing views of the McDowell Mountains. The course is readily available to resort guests and the public, for a daily fee.

Children who are residents of Desert Ridge typically are enrolled in the following Paradise Valley School District schools: Desert Trails Elementary School, Wildfire Elementary School, Fireside Elementary School, Explorer Middle School and Pinnacle High School.
