Commuting time to Phoenix is 1 1/2 to 2 hours based on where you need to go. However, Prescott has nearly all of the shopping and entertainment that you would need with big box retailers like Costco and the normal supermarkets like Frys and Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Sprouts Farmers Market.
