Situated in the North Scottsdale foothills at 120th Street and Via Linda is Ancala Country Club, an 850-acre master planned guard-gated community where many homes enjoy magnificent views of the Camelback and McDowell Mountains. The lush green 18-hole private golf course at the Ancala Country Club opened in 1991 and has a slope rating of 145 with 6815 yards from the longest tees. Players of all golf levels are welcome to play as the course has 5 sets of tees. There are the normal sand traps and water only becomes a factor on the 9th and 18th holes since they touch a common lake.
The well respected and world-renowned golf course architect, Perry Dye, receives the honors as the designer of the golf course.
